I've been in need of a grammer refresher. I know, I know my writing has probably frustrated some of ya'll. Grammer is so difficult for me because I write how I talk. I'll probably continue to do so, however I would like a refresher course on where a comma can go and can't go.
Yesterday we went thrift store shoping and found some great deals. With all the deals I couldn't leave behind, for a whopping 35 cents I left Salvation Army with a book called "How To Write" by Readers Digest. It has all sorts of ideas for writing notes of sympathay to notes of politely telling someone no. The best part is that it has a whole section on grammer. Hooray! All my blogger friends are in luck, hopefully I will learn something useful!
My mother, grandmother and I went to Taget last night. Wow, did we find the deals. $1.24 is all I paid for Carson and new shirt. $1.74 for the little man some new pants. A mixing bowl for $4.98 and diapers (of course with a coupon).
"A penny saved is a penny earned." is my motto for my new coupon organizer. It's pink and cute and was only 99 cents!
Eyebrows. I haven't had them waxed since June. I NEVER go this long. The only reason for the extended time frame is from being on some skin medicince. Well I had about all I could take this morning. My mother and I both waxed our eyebrows. This was my first time doing it on my own. I will go back to my sweet lady at Merle Norman the next time. It's WAY to painful to pull the wax off yourself. So painful. But WOW, what a difference! Kara Cain is now amongst the living with bright blue eyes you can now see. I'm sure Tyler will appreciate seeing the eyes he adores so much. Boy, do I miss him! We are going home today. It's kind of bittersweet. My grandparents are leaving and i'm not sure when I will see them again. (tear!)
I feel like I have much more to say, but I must relax. My blood sugar is going a little crazy today. Could it be that I've been up since 4:45 this morning with the little man, I need rest.
love you all dearly.
By the way, we bought Carson his first pillow. It's cute. My mother and I made pillowcases for it, one Florida Gator pillowcase of course (are you surprised?).
Oh, and one more thing. My cousin applyed for UF and will find out next month if she's been accepted. I'm praying she get's in. She's an el brain-o but she's gorgeous too. Must be nice to have brains and beauty. AND she's street smart...boy, she's got a lot going for her. And to top it all off, she loves God. Such a great combination that can do so much for God's kingdom.
Ok, I'm done now. Love you all.
