I just read something that I thought I should share to the people who know better, and the people who don't.
And we can't forget what the Bible say's:
"...the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark." (James 3:5)
Sometimes I think there is nothing worse of a feeling than to know that people are talking about you in a "not-so-good" way. You sit for a while and dwell on it and it leaves your heart hurting, really bad. Then you are hit with advice from family and friends who tell you the same ole' thing... "It's ok, obviously they have nothing better to talk about" or you get the advice of "Well, people talk out of jealousy." So then you leave the thought alone resting on the fact that "Oh, they're just jealous."
Well today i've had a huge change of heart about the matter. I read something that will interest every woman on this earth. After all, we've all been on both sides of the field, the Gossiper and the Victim! Here is the conclusion for all of you who are coping as the victim.
"If there is any sin more deadly than envy, it is being pleased at being envied." -Richard Armour
Move on and pass the awful criticism by praying to God about it. After all, God didn't say ...Gossip, criticism, unjust punishment...Dwell on these things...
That's my complete change of heart (as the Cables like to call it).
