The highs and lows of Memorial day weekend.
Friday night my parents drove over to hang out with all of us for the weekend. Saturday my mother and I went over to the gym to ride the stationary bike. She's been doing so good with her exercise and eating. I'm really proud of her at how passionate she is about following the doctors orders. It has been an inspiration to Tyler and I to begin living our lives as healthy as we possibly can. Getting into the habit is the hardest part of it! Carson slept a lot on Saturday, he's still not 100% better. When he wants to sleep, we let him sleep. After all, half the problem with sickness is not getting enough rest. Saturday afternoon Tyler and my dad hung up the American flag! It looks beautiful! My parents gave Tyler the flag and flag pole last year for his birthday (which crazy enough is on Flag day!). We washed the car and both trucks and got them all cleaned up. There is something to say about taking care of what God has blessed you with. In fact, we were just talking about this subject today at our Playgroup with a Purpose. I rest good at night knowing that I took care of the things God has blessed me with. Whether it's my family, my home, my car, even my health and well being.
On Memorial day we had barbecue for lunch then went over to Universal for the afternoon with Adrienne and Brant. We had a wonderful time hanging out with just the 5 of us.
On a different note, a girl that I worked with years ago, Emily, had her baby this past Friday. Emily and Matt had a little boy, Andrew. He's not able to go home from the hospital yet, hopefully by this weekend. So if you're reading this, say a little extra prayer for the Loveall family. Alright, I'm done for today.
Love all,
Kara
