So much in one weekend

What a weekend! I've got so much to tell you that I'm trying to decide where to begin!
1. Carson took 2 steps to my dad...twice!
2. Tyler played golf with Scott. (hasn't played since October, so this was a huge treat!)
3. We went to a marriage retreat in Howey in the Hills. Carson spent the weekend with his Nana K and Papa Turtle!
4. Tyler led a song for the first time at the singing! I Stand in Awe of You
5. Told everyone about the amazing brownie story.
6. Sang Happy Birthday to Tyler times 3! (second time with a birthday cake)
7. So thankful to see some old friends and meet new ones at the retreat!
8. Carson shopped a lot with Nana K and Papa Turtle was excited to rock him to sleep!
9. Walked around Mt. Dora with a wig on!
10. Completely balled my eyes out during a prayer holding Liz's hand...so sad they are leaving!
11. Almost half way done with the book Parenting in the Pew
12. Learned a lot about marriage, contentment, leaving and cleaving and I can't forget the lesson on pride!
13. Tyler celebrated two events, his birthday and father's day!

All in all, we had a wonderful weekend. I just wish we could have spent more time with my parents on Sunday, we had Max so we couldn't leave him in the car plus we were trying to mkae it back for Sunday evening services.

On a special note, I must say a couple of things about the two most influential men in my life. First off my dad, my dad and I are closer than any father/daughter I have ever seen. I will never forget as long as I live the times my dad looked at me with teary filled eyes telling me that he's so very proud of me. That has given me the encouragement to shoot for the moon in all of my dreams. I am who I am today because of the influence and passion for life that my dad has given me. I love you daddy!
I would also like to say something about the man of my dreams. Just when I thought I couldn't love him anymore, Carson came along. Watching him father the child we brought into this world creates a love and passion for him I never knew could possibly exist. I love him with all my heart and so proud of him for providing and leading our family.

All my love,
Kara

This blog is the beginning of my journey to getting my body back in shape like it was the day I married. I created this blog while I was pregnant with my third child, dreaming of my favorite blue jeans and a belt.
