zoo, dinner and a bridal shower

Last Friday Carson was still not able to walk so I called up one of my girlfriends and met her and her children at the zoo. This past weekend everything that we did pretty much consisted of Carson being in a stroller, bike trailer or the car. We are still hoping his foot heals soon. He's t crawling everywhere.

Friday night we met Dan and Lara Leigh at Tijuana Flats for dinner.

Saturday we had our once a month Bible study, this month at our home. We decided to have a singing since we are in between subjects. We also learned some new songs. It was gorgeous.

Sunday, we had a bridal shower for Erin Corley. It turned out just perfect. I have a picture below of the fruit bouquet Bonny made.

Sunday night Carson had a special delivery from Emma. She lives a couple houses down and loves to bake! Emma had gotten a cookie press for her birthday and made Carson cute caterpillar cookies. Last time she made cute cookies with his name on them. She's very talented and such a sweet girl. You don't find very many middle school age girls baking for their neighbors.
The day we moved in, her family, the Hopegood's came over with fresh picked strawberries in a cute little bucket with a little card with their contact information. What a way to welcome us to the neighborhood! The family is such a good example to us on how to be hospitable. Carson lights up when he sees Emma! I think he's kinda sweet on her!

About Me

This blog is the beginning of my journey to getting my body back in shape like it was the day I married. I created this blog while I was pregnant with my third child, dreaming of my favorite blue jeans and a belt.
