Cookie

Alright, here they are, my first attempt at making sugar cookies. I've been inspired by two people; Emma Hopegood - Carson's babysitter that lives 4 houses down. She always makes the cutest little cookies with Carson's name on them. The second person is Shannon Willcutt, a stay at home mom that attends church with my grandparents in Mississippi. Both are so talented! And both have introduced me into the cookie world.
So, today was my first attempt. I did everything while Carson was napping, thankfully he took a very long afternoon nap. I only took a picture of one because only about 6 out of 11 turned out decent. I'm learning as I go.

They look great! Very good! The real test is if they taste good. Do they? :) Wish I was there to taste them! :)

How cute!! They are adorable!! :) Reminds me of the cookies I made for Ruthie's first birthday. They take a lot of time, don't they... but if they are tasty then they're worth every minute!! :)

They look great, Kara... Especially for your first time! I think cookie and cake decorating is so fun. I'm thinking about taking the cake decorating class at Hobby Lobby... we'll see! Have a wonderful day :)
