Be careful little ears what you hear...

If I say the name Brandon Heath and you have no idea who I'm talking about - take a look at the christian music section of iTunes and you'll see one of his songs is #1!!!! He's great! I love his music for two reasons. 

1. I'm listening to music that helps me put my focus where it needs to be.

2. It sounds like something off the mainstream radio stations, but the words are edifying. 

Some friends we go to church with go us tickets to see him and Sara Groves (She's wonderful too). 

We really enjoyed ourselves. It was so uplifting! I've put a couple of his songs on my playlist when the blog begins. My favorite is "I'm not who I was." 

Something that was said last night really struck me.

"We better get going. It means we strip down and start running and move on!"

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3: 13-14

My friends, it's time we make right with God, strip down our sins and begin running for the race of your lifetime...Your path with God. He needs us now more than ever. And if you think your past your prime...Think again...He still has plans for you. I encourage you to study your Bibles. The more you study and know more about Him, the more your heart will grow for Him.
