I went crazy and cleaned the entire house Monday. One huge project was to clean out Carson's entire room, I mean ENTIRE room, from top to bottom. There is not one thing in his room that did not get touched. It was out with the old and in with the new. Out with the outgrown pajamas and in with the big boy pajamas. Same with socks, t-shirts, pants and shoes. At moments I sat in his room and teard up. I can still remember the day we brought him home from the hospital. So much has changed. I can't get over how big he's getting.
He's going crazy over airplanes, animals, christmas lights and Elmo. Overall, he's quite charming. I love him.
Tyler has gone through some crazy times at work. It's a very long story and won't go into to detail. But I'm truely convinced that the Lord takes care of His people. He's with the same company doing the same thing BUT he now is off early and home by 5:30 everyday. Words can't even begin to describe the excitement Carson and I have when that white pick-up pulls in the driveway. Smiles and all. We have been blessed and give God the glory for it all.
Ok, so back to my week, I've cleaned a ton, cleaned some more and then cleaned some more. It never ends does it...?
We cut the pacifier out cold turkey last night. Not one peep going to bed, slept through the night and did fantastic during his nap today which he's down to one. I thank the Lord. I won't even begin to mention how old I was when I quit sucking my thumb.
I've made 2 sweet potato pies, 3 dozen jello pudding cookies and 2 dozen sugar cookies. It makes me sick to even think about it. Too much of a good thing is not always a good thing.
On that note, my back has been KILLING me. It get's so bad by mid evening that it hurts to walk and stand in certain positions. Every time I pick up the little man I can hear and feel it crinkle. It's awful. I've been going to the chiropractor, and that helps, but it's the days in between. Yikes.
Anyway, I'm tired and worn out so I'm off to "Lilly Whites party" as Tyler's great grandmother would say. Goodnight all!

You have been so productive! Good for you! I know the back pain.... mine is not terrible, but I feel it when I overdo it. Hope the white truck gets to come home as early as possible! Garrett and I experience the same excitement when a black mini van pulls down our drive! Have a great week!
Hey girl, You have been mighty busy... how do you get all that done with Carson awake? I find cleaning Ruthie's room the hardest. Because, when she's awake she wants to "help" me by getting into everything, and then when she's sleeping... I don't want to wake her by cleaning out her drawers!! :) I still would love your recipe for sugar cookies. I'm looking for a good/easy recipe for christmas sugar cookies... would you share yours? Can't wait to see Christmas pics of Carson. Lets get together soon.
