Here is the email from the family, please, please pray for this family. They need strength and comfort.
"Today we received an update on Blake's condition and he does in fact have Trisomy 18. It is likely that he will not make it through the week. The geneticist came and spoke with us today and said that the tests that were run this past weekend confirmed their original diagnosis. A lot of what will happen next is still undecided but we will try to update as we are able. We are so very thankful for the time we have gotten to spend with him and we are BLESSED and comforted to know that he is going to be with our Father. Please continue to pray for our family that we will have strength and wisdom in the difficult days ahead.
Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me."

Hi Cara - I'm Stephanie Barr's older sister and I've read your posts on little Blake. Even though I don't know the family, I am so saddened that they're going through this. I was wondering how old Blake is. I know most Trisomy 18 babies don't make it to their first birthday. I am sure praying for his family. ~Sue Beth Haub
