We celebrated my mother's birthday this past weekend! My mom and I had the luxury of going to the Spa on Friday! It was heavenly! We had a milk and honey pedicure, a european facial and some waxing services done. HEAVENLY! I've never been more relaxed and pampered. (My mother had accumulated $$$ gift certificates from her coworkers over the past year that paid for everything for BOTH OF US! Can you believe it? I felt terribly bad when a lady asked me if I was treating my mom for her birthday..."Um, actually, no, she was gracious to share her certificates with me to do this together."
That's what I love about my mother. She's the most giving person I know and I know that's why God continually blesses her. Happy Birthday Mom and a big THANKS for sharing your day with me!
The little man watching his "9 month old" video on the ipod. Ha, he's a little man!
He took an opened bag of M&M's out of my parents pantry. This is a picture of what happened next. LOL
We went to Epcot on Saturday. Oh, what fun! Carson's cutest part of the day was seeing the sea rays in the aquarium, when we reminded him that they were Sea Rays, he kept running around pointing to them saying "Baseball!" "Baseball!" He would point to the sea ray and tell the stranger next to him that they were "Baseballs!" I know they probably were thinking "Huh, what in the world, I don't see a baseball!?!?"
{Tampa Bay "Rays"} - do you get it?
Mickey likes baseball too!
"Hello, Mr. Turtle!"
After 29 years they're still in love!
Running through the park.
We had a really good weekend and didn't want to come home. Sometimes, you just want weekends to last a day longer, just one more day is all you would need. You know what I mean?
