locked out

I had my hair appointment this morning with the lovely Maria Lord. It was Ty's duty to watch the little man while Maria works her wonders. Tyler was saposed to meet me at my hair dresser's at 9:45 to drop off Carson on his way into work. He didn't show up. I received a phone call telling me a crazy story on why he was running behind. 

Tyler got ready this morning including getting Carson ready on time. The last thing he had to do before he left was take Max out potty. He went outside and shut the sliding glass door. Carson made his way over to the slider and puts the metal flap down, the security flap that is supposed to keep people from breaking into your sliding glass door. Tyler was locked out and Carson was locked in. Thankfully Tyler had his phone on him however the two people who have our house key were both unavailiable. He had to call a locksmith and break in the house. Poor little Carson was alone in the living room for 1 entire hour...! Tyler entertained him through the slider, then the lawn people came to mow our yard and that kept Carson's attention for quite some time. Tyler was able to get Carson to go back to the metal flap and talk him through lifting up the metal flap but Carson couldn't do it, it was stuck...(smart little boy Tyler said.) Carson was saved and didn't get hurt so we are so thankful for that. To God be the glory!

What a morning. 

Carson and I were able to meet Leigh for lunch and were on time...(thank goodness, she's always early to our lunch dates)

So hopefully Tyler will have a better rest of the day. Speaking of his "rest of the day"   Tyler is going to the Rays game with his boss...SO not fair!
